Inspired by one of my campaign ideas, and the old Midnight Circus from the Old World of Darkness. So, let's put together a spooky carnival, with a cast of characters, attractions, and so on.
Despite my ambivalence towards Beast, I can't help but think that a Beast would fit a "ringmaster" role well. Probably a Namtaru. Scary carnivals are all about revision.
God, I've been dying for a campaign where the players play the staff of a traveling carnival of monsters.

I'm playing with the idea of a Promethean sword swallower, because of the sheer durability factor of most supernaturals making it much easier to make your body withstand things that it should not have or be able to. And for a Promethean, the effects of disquiet would up the revulsion factor. Just a thought.

Well, the different way that Disquiet works in TLC would actually make that more practical than the way it worked in 1e. What Refinement do you think?
I have to say, a Promethean sideshow performer would give a whole new meaning to the term "fireball show"...

I think Cuprus or Stannum might make a lot of sense, maybe a Tammuz warrior-philosopher type who views sword-swallowing as the ultimate perfection of body and self.
Then again, even though it might not be the best thing for this particular character, I really like the idea of an Aurum sideshow performer who thinks, "hey, I'm sort of a freak, but maybe I can use that to better fit in with the mortal world."

I feel like "Aurum sideshow performer" would be an awesome character to roleplay. I mean, all honesty, it sounds pretty hard, but potentially fascinating. I'm planning on either GMing or playing in a Promethean campaign when The Lightning Chronicle is done to sort of show it off, so keep that in mind if you're interested.
Definitely room for Changeling performers as well, maybe even a Charlatan.
