So, one of the things that often comes up as a positive with ChroD is that it often tries to show the usefulness and value of science, and that it can even be effective when applied to the supernatural (when done by people who aren't alchemists, I guess). So let's have some fun with it, and apply scientific theories to the supernatural.
• Some spirits and Fae entities both seem to draw sustenance or power from emotions. Do they share a common ancestor, or is this convergent evolution? • Do vampires have a symbiotic or parasitic relationship with the God-Machine? Perhaps their continued existing (and success in propagating and surviving) is due to them evolving a symbiotic relationship with the Machine. Vampires, after all, take the issue of concealing the supernatural very seriously, and their overall presence actually tends to have a sort of stabilizing effect: they prefer that the human population remains as ignorant and complacent as possible, which also seems to be the Machine's goal.
