So, I've been thinking, any antagonists from certain lines that you think would make great baddies for other lines? Some examples-
- Idigam vs. Promethean: Atamajakki had a great idea for a 1950s Promethean dark era based on 50s and 60s atomic horror b-movies, so why not pit them against The Thing From Outer Space- in this case, an Idigam that's causing bizarre mutations. Maybe it's even taken a liking to flux and the Centimani, and wants to transform into some kind of pseudo-Qashmallim? For bonus points, set it in either New Mexico or one of the poles.
- Fae vs. Demons: Mysterious thorny growths have been cropping up over local Infrastructure, causing it to act strangely. The Ring might initially think this is a good thing- it's fucking with the GM- but then the damage to the infrastructure starts causing dangerous reality glitches. And then they find out that the GM's plan to solve the situation involves "cauterizing the wound" by setting off a massive natural disaster and razing entire city blocks to the ground.
- Strix vs. Beasts: A well-intentioned Begotten "patron" of the local Kindred is seduced by a Stirge, who wants to use him to push the vampires into barbarism. What will the players think of this new threat- assuming they can detect it. And when they do, how will they react to an entity that claims to embody their guiding principles even more closely than they do?
- Tremere Lich vs. Sin-Eaters: A very old and very powerful Lich is on a quest to refine his flawed immortality, and his resources have notified him of the existence of the Bargain. The possibilities are almost endless, but he's decided to start by hunting down as many Geists are possible and binding them to himself and his servants. If the Krewe has dealt with abmortals, they might be in for a surprise when they find out just how powerful this one is.
- Pandoran vs. Sangiovanni: One of the most prominent, wealthiest, and skilled Sangiovanni, owner of a sprawling estate and laboratory complex, suddenly drops out of contact with the rest of the "family". When the players are dispatched to investigate, they find out that their experiments on creating even more perfect undead servants have created a brood of Pandorans led by a Sublimati, who have claimed the estate as their own twisted lair.
- Kerberos vs Mummies: Yet another Atamajakki-inspired hook. So, you can draw a lot of interesting parallels between Geist and Mummy, especially with the whole "brought back to life and maintained by a minor god of death" thing giving some interesting similarities between the Bargain and the Rite of Return. Mummies looking for some answers could likely end up in the underworld...only to find that its monstrous overlords don't take kindly to outsiders snooping around. Perhaps they'll even seek an audience with Polydegmon himself...what would he make of such venerable deathless beings?
